| Our Journey |
At the heart of our work this year was the flagship project, Hear Our Stories: Northern Nigeria Teenage Outreach and Support. This initiative amplified the voices of out-of-school teenagers, enabling them to overcome educational barriers and participate actively in community development. By linking education advocacy with environmental action, we empowered youth and created pathways for a sustainable future. |

- ASI collaborated with the Yakubu Gowon Center, the Federal Ministry of Health, and local health authorities to deliver hepatitis awareness, testing, and vaccination campaigns in Gombe and Kaduna states.
- In partnership with NESREA, ASI mobilized the community for World Cleanup Day at Federal Government College Kaduna. Tons of waste were collected, and participants gained insights into environmental conservation.
- World Science Day celebrated at Government College Makurdi inspired students to embrace science education and careers in STEM, fostering a culture of innovation and leadership.
- ASI spearheaded extensive plastic waste collection campaigns. Recycled materials were sold to fund educational initiatives for out-of-school teenagers, effectively merging environmental sustainability with social impact.
- The launch of the Atlanticare Community Empowerment Initiative (ACEI) strengthened grassroots relationships and expanded ASI's reach through targeted community outreach and education programs.
